Guest Lecture: Trade Policy in Practice – The EU–Armenia Context
Dr. Tatevik Vardanyan, from the Armenian State University of Economics, will present an online guest lecture introducing the key concepts, instruments and global frameworks of trade policy. The lecture will include a practical excursus focusing on the context of the EU–Armenia relationship.
Drawing on her academic and policy experience, she will explore how trade policy theories translate into real-world applications, particularly in relation to economic integration between Armenia and the European Union.
Although the lecture is part of the Macroeconomics and International Economics module for WING Master's students, it is also open to other students and faculty members interested in international economics, trade policy and regional economic integration.

About Dr. Vardanyan
Tatevik Vardanyan is a lecturer at the Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE), where she teaches courses in international economics, transport economics, and logistics. She holds a PhD in Economics and has extensive experience in research, teaching, and project coordination. Her current research explores mechanisms to enhance international trade competitiveness and supply chain resilience in emerging economies. Dr. Vardanyan is also the Head of the Career Center at ASUE and has been involved in numerous international collaborations, including projects funded by the European Union, UN Women, and UNESCO.
